Federal, State and Local Government

The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors governs all planning and building activities at Mountain House, including the implementation of the Master Plan, development agreements, zoning issues, subdivision maps, and building permits. However, the MHCSD controls and is responsible for most aspects of the district, including the annual operating budget. It governs all the public services, including roads, water, wastewater, storm, solid waste, fire and police protection, parks and recreation, Master Restrictions (CC&Rs), and public administration.
