Permit Information
The
Mountain House Community Services District (MHCSD) grants permits for any
work performed in the public right-of-way, including driveway approaches. There
are four types of permits available: Encroachment Permits, Water Meter/Driveway
Permits (also known as Building permit release), Pool permits and Transportation
permits. Download

Encroachment
Encroachment permits are necessary when anyone (including utility companies, residents and contractors) works in the city right-of-way, city-owned land, and/or within a city easement.Download the Encroachment Permit Application.

Water Meter/Driveway (For Builders Only)
Driveway/Water Meter permits are required for builders installing water meters. This permit doubles as a building permit release for San Joaquin County Building department.Download the Building Permit Release Application.

Transportation
MHCSD has the discretionary authority to issue special permits, in it’s jurisdiction, for the movement of vehicles/loads exceeding statutory limitations on the size, weight, and loading of vehicles contained in Division 15 of the California Vehicle Code. Requests for such special permits requires the completion of and application for a Transportation Permit.Download the Transportation Permit Application.

Pool
